The dvd playback blacks out intermittently when watching purchased dvd’s and blueray discs. The surround sound isn’t very good and we end up having to raise and lower the volume while watching a movie, cable or gaming.

The best bang for your buck anywhere. This sounds system exceeds performance of systems 4-$500 more expensive. Buy it.

Sony BRAVIA DAV-HDX267W Theater System with Wireless Speaker Kit

I’m sorry I bought this system – it’s too complicated, the Mp3 player doesn’t work, and I disconnected the surround sound because noise coming from all over was distracting – I’m accustomed to sound coming from near the picture in front of me – a gun shot sound behind me is startling.

The Sony support people were not able to help me when I called about not being able to play the iPod on the system. And I called 5 times.

So I presently do not use the radio, because the channels are difficult to navigate, nor do I use the Mp3 on this nor the surround sound.

Of course, I’m sorry I bought it – want mine?

Bose Lifestyle 18 Series III w/ wireless surround link

Bose sell the same item at $500 cheaper. I hope people look at other places before they invest their $2000.

Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System (Black)

The speakers were received on time and in perfect condition. They operate as described, good, but not great, but value for the money. As other reviews indicated I had to buy RCA speaker extension wires, but @ $ 1.99 for 10 feet, this was no problem.
